I've loved languages from a very young age. While others tried to avoid taking foreign language in high school, I took two. I majored in Italian in college and spent a year in Italy. When I was single, I'd spend an hour in the bathtub learning about a less-common language on a random Tuesday night. I am a language geek, that's for sure! So, it's no surprise I love Astrology.

Astrology is a language.

Language, art, food, and history are important parts of truly understanding a culture. They help us navigate unfamiliar terrain and uncover the hidden signs of where we want to go.

Like any other language, Astrology helps us understand people's history, present, and future.  It helps us answer questions about who we are that we've never quite understood. Astrology brings us home to our culture.

Before becoming an Astrologer, I thought I could not stick with just one thing because there was always something new to explore and learn.

Everything changed for me when I discovered how my mind worked and why it worked that way, all thanks to learning about my Mercury in Gemini + the 3rd house. (Hat tip to my first mentor, Misty!)

Confession time:

I became an Astrologer for selfish reasons.

I appeared to be a successful attorney at Google on the outside, but on the inside, I was struggling to find meaning in my career.

I felt like the work I did was counter to all of my beliefs and my #1 life goal: to help people in a game-changing way.

I was struggling with my identity and felt like a failure, and I kept thinking to myself, “What am I meant to do in this lifetime? Because it sure isn’t this.”

I realized I needed to get in touch with the spark within and shut out all the noise of societal expectations.

So, I began to study Astrology. And I never looked back. 

As a certified Astrologer + Business Astrologer, I help brilliant women take back their lives because we are the flame-bearers who will change the world.

Oh, I still have that corporate job and my general feelings towards it haven’t changed, but how I navigate how I react to them has, thanks to Astrology.

I am a total language nerd

I love to go down rabbit holes learning about somewhat obscure languages, always looking for connections between different languages and cultures.

FUN FACT

We have two Samoyeds, Kai + Miss Pickles, those gorgeous fluffy white dogs, one of the ancient breeds. They are my heart. And they need a bath.
